Set in the near future, Jonathan Holbrook’s latest short, WHISKERS, is about a couple who buys a BETA android to clean the house. Shortly after, things take a terrible turn.

The short film was produced with talent and a crew totaling to 7 people and shot and put in the can in 72 hours. WHISKERS was chosen as Official Selection at the FLIC Film Festival in Montana and is currently being considering for the Atlanta Film Festival to feature in March.

PUNKIN: SHORT FILM (DIRECTOR’S CUT)

Tall Taurus Media entered the Seattle 48 Hour Film Project. TTM produced a 7 minute short with the “Film de Femme” genre. Due to time restraints (48 hours) and too much footage the film was turned in “feeling undone and exploitive”, says Jonathan Holbrook, co-writer, producer and director of the film. That being said, a director’s cut (12min.) was produced to tell the whole story of a woman (performed by Michelle Westford) trying to survive the mortgage business by taking abuse by her bullying boss (performed by Earl Gray).

The film consisted a crew of seven, including cast. The film was produced under Chronicle Factory, the indie film division of Tall Taurus Media LLC.
